Improved health & fitness
Research states that it takes 21 days to form a new habit. The UWCB training course lasts 56 days. This means you have 56 days of commitment to get fitter, healthier and in great shape.
At the end of an 8-week UWCB training course, you will feel incredible health benefits, you’ll feel fitter and continue to exercise and make healthier choices.
Simon Roberts from Derby took part in an event in 2012 which kick-started his weight loss journey. Simon continued exercising and to date has lost 8 stone and feels fitter now than he did 7 years ago.
Training towards something
UWCB gives you a goal. At the end of the 8 weeks, you know that you will be stepping into the ring in front of a crowd of your friends and family. This helps to give you motivation and means that for 8 weeks to push yourself, train hard, get fitter and feel healthier.
When the bell rings at the end of your fight, you’ll feel an incredible sense of achievement and nothing will seem impossible.
Increased confidence & camaraderie
We now live in a world where people don’t often communicate face to face. UWCB groups people together from different backgrounds who train together and get to know each other over 8 weeks. You form a team and push each other to get through training and you support each other at the big event.
Walking out in front of 1,000 people and stepping into a boxing ring is a truly unique and incredible feeling and participants leave the event with a renewed sense of confidence. If you can do UWCB you can do anything in life.
Doing something positive
Ultra Events are proud to have raised over £18 Million for Cancer Research UK since 2013.
We offer participants the chance to help raise money for a cause that will, unfortunately, affect most of us in some way. Raising money for charity is an amazing and positive thing to do and it makes you feel proud of your achievement. On average, each UWCB participant raises £268 for Cancer Research UK, and each event raises an average of £12,000.
UWCB are aiming to reach £20 Million for Cancer Research UK by 2020, by signing up YOU can be a part of this incredible figure.
